Make an appointment

The Language Workshop offers tutorials in oral and written academic language for all students, including PhD students, at Uppsala University. You will find our appointment hours below. Our tutorials are free of charge.

Do you have a short question about language, oral presentations, or writing? If so, you are welcome to visit our drop-in tutorials.

To make an appointment for a tutorial, please use our booking form. All students and PhD students at Uppsala University, regardless of study location, should use this form when requesting an appointment.

After having submitted the form, you will receive an automatic confirmation that your request has been received. Later on, you will receive an email with a suggested time for an appointment. Please observe that the appointment is not booked until you have replied that you accept the proposed appointment and then received a confirmation email.

Please remember to

• confirm that you want the suggested appointment.
• contact us well ahead of time if you need to cancel your appointment. When appointments are cancelled late, we cannot offer the time slot to another student.

Teachers at Uppsala University may book lectures and workshops with the Language Workshop. Please use the form for booking lectures to make such a request.
